Guitars and Instruments
Somehow I've ended up with quite a collection of guitars and other instruments through the years, here is a list.
Fender CD-60S
This is the guitar I got most recently for when I was starting college, and is now the guitar I use most. It is great for playing the Carter Scratch and if you look on my YouTube channel, you'll see me using in most guitar videos. It is the best quality guitar I have ever owned, and the sound from it is incredible.
Yamaha FG-Junior
This is a half size guitar I got long years ago, I don't remember when exactly. I used this guitar the most, before I got my Fender. It is a great little guitar and it has many stories attached to it. When I was in school I used to take it in and out with me every day, I really don't know how it ever survived. It has been with me right across Scotland, from the east coast to nearly the most westernly point. I still play it often.
Yamaha FG-720S
This guitar is basiclly a bigger version of the FG-Junior. This is likley the first guitar I every played, my uncle bought it years ago since he played guitar a little bit, but he moved away to another country so it sat unplayed for years. It ended up with me a few years ago. It has a good sound, though at the time of writing this I really ought to have the strings changed!
Nylon String Guitar
I haven't put the make and model simpily because I don't know it. When I first had guitar lessons in primary school, this was the guitar they gave me to practise with. It's the only nylon string guitar I have. I don't play it much, the sound is not great, but it is just nice to have.
Ozark Autoharp
This is my Autoharp, I got it in 2023 and I play it so much. It is a 36 string 15 bar autoharp. I play it with a steel thumb pick and three steel finger picks. I have played it at quite a few events, including the 2024 Clan Cameron Gathering, and quite a lot on YouTube too!
Donner DUC-100 Ukelele
I don't play ukelele, I know a few chords on it but not much more. I have had this for quite awhile and do play it ocasionlly.
